Community initiatives

Community storytelling and care circles

We host weekly reminiscence gatherings, oral history transcription projects, and caregiver circles designed to protect dignity and celebrate personal heritage across Canadian communities.

Core offerings

Three community pathways

Sensory recollection

Reminiscence Workshops

Small-group gatherings grounded in tactile cues, regional music, and archival photographs. Participants revisit shared cultural milestones and family traditions without performance pressure or memory tests.

Intergenerational craft

Oral History Transcriptions

Local youth volunteers pair with older adults over four sessions to record spoken memories. Stories, favorite recipes, and childhood recollections are transcribed into hand-bound archival keepsake volumes.

Caregiver solidarity

Caregiver Circles

Bi-weekly evening spaces for family partners and adult children to speak candidly about caregiving realities, share community resources, and find mutual understanding in an unhurried setting.

Archival preservation

We hold an unhurried telephone call with family members to understand daily rhythms, communication preferences, and comfort requirements.

We introduce you to a neighborhood circle with matching schedules, compatible group sizes, and nearby accessible venues.

Participants attend six bi-weekly meetings featuring guided storytelling prompts, sensory triggers, and warm tea service.

Families receive a printed archival memory portfolio alongside high-fidelity audio files for long-term household preservation.

Join an upcoming cohort

Seasonal circles begin monthly in neighborhood libraries and community rooms across Ontario and British Columbia. Spaces remain small to foster unhurried conversations.
